Morrill County NE Cattlemen Affiliate Meeting to feature JIM ROBB

Jim Robb is the Senior Agricultural Economist and Director of the Livestock Marketing Information Center (LMIC). Jim has written numerous research papers, articles, and newsletters on various topics related to livestock marketing. Jim is a popular speaker and relates well to cattle producers and he has agreed to be the guest speaker at the April 21, Morrill County Nebraska Cattlemen Affiliate meeting in Bridgeport, NE at the Prairie Winds Community Center.  Beef cow numbers are down after the 2011-2013 drought and many producers are looking to rebuild or expand their herds with Nebraska's abundant resources. Anyone not a member of a local Nebraska Cattlemen's affiliate is encouraged to come to the meeting and learn how membership impacts policy, education, and beef production in Nebraska.
Join us at the Prairie Winds Community Center at 6:00 p.m. for the social with a meal to follow at 6:30. The meal is $15 for non-members and $10 for members. Merck Animal Health is sponsoring this meeting.
Please RSVP by 9:00 a.m. April 20th, to Lewis Coulter at (308) 262-2100 or 631-8240.
