600-700 lb & 700-800 lb Feeder Steer Basis plus Choice Select Spread

This information is designed for cattle producers to help them with acquisition and merchandising decisions for fed cattle. Feeder and live cattle futures basis (PDF 185KB, 3pgs) are calculated using Western Nebraska average cash prices and the average nearby futures prices from the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
